Scots love Jaguar

Scots love Jaguar

As a Jaguar enthusiast I always highlight it when Jaguar does well and is in the media spotlight. As I have a lot of family and friends involved with the manufacturing and sale of Jaguar Land Rover cars I was very excited about the announcement that there will be a new plant opening near Wolverhampton in the next year or so! The new plant may help boost Jaguar servicing in Leicester. As far as awards go Jaguar has been bringing them in lately, especially with the XF, which has won What Car? Car of the year for several years in a row. At the 2011 Scottish car of the Year awards Jaguar took 3 awards, for the XF, XKR-S and E-Type. The XF was named best Diesel Car, the Jaguar XKR-S Best Sports Car and the Jaguar E-type was named the Most Iconic Car of the Past 50 Years.

This is a great turn around for Jaguar Land Rover which was struggling up until TATA motors got involved and pumped in some fresh new cash and enthusiasm into the famous British brand. The XF marked the first turning point of Jaguar's fortunes; it replaced the S and X Type models and was an instant hit both with consumers and motoring journalists. The XK has always been Jaguar's flagship model, but due to the financial meltdown its sales figures have been in decline. Models such as the new XJ have really helped boost new car sales and show what Jaguar is capable of achieving. As long as Jaguar can survive through these tough times I am convinced it will be stronger in the long run Lisa Finneral is aweb marketing executive researching Jaguar servicing in Leicester.
